This just in from our brother, Karl White at Billy Holcomb:

Good Day Gents,

The application, fees and related paperwork has been sent into the Crestline Chamber of Commerce for the Jamboree Days / 4th of July Parade Event. The Parade will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 3, 2010. (Usually starts late but you never know……..)

This event is family friendly, Bring the Widder and Orphans. Wear your Clamper best.  The ECV / Holcomb / Crestline Boys “Float” will be staged at approx 9:00 am.  Meeting Place will be as usual, the Rim Of The World Tavern in the Top Town area of Crestline, I recommend being there by 8:30 or earlier please.  Rim Tavern is EVC Friendly and Clamper owned by Cliff Herington and his Widder Robyn.

Basic directions for those of you from down-the-Hill; 215 Freeway North from Riverside / San Bernardino to the 210 Freeway East (marked to Mountain Resorts). Get off at Highway 18 (Marked to Lake Arrowhead and Crestline).  North on Hwy 18, thirteen miles up the hill to Hwy 138 marked to Crestline, one mile to the Stop sign at Crest Forest Drive. Rim Tavern is located at Crest Forest and Hwy 138.  Park where you can. Drive Carefully.

The Float will provide seating and a ride for those who need it. The total parade route is less than 1 and ½ miles, it’ll be over by 11:15 or so and end on the shores of Lake Gregory. The main street in Crestline, Lake Street will be Closed to traffic and will have vendors, live music and such. All restaurants and Taverns are open and ECV Friendly, including the world famous Stockade.

Please pass this info around to any Brother Clampers who may wish to attend.
